International furniture delivery depends on packed dimensions, weight, destination, service level and current carrier conditions. We therefore confirm shipping in writing for each order.
1. Sample shipping
After reviewing the product and complete destination, we obtain an available courier or freight option and add the confirmed charge to the USD proforma invoice. Quotations may change if the address is remote, access is limited, the packed specification changes or the carrier revises its rate before booking.
2. Production-order shipping
Bulk orders are planned manually because carton dimensions, palletization, container utilization, port routing and destination delivery can materially affect cost. The quotation or supply agreement identifies the Incoterm, named place, included services and party responsible for freight, insurance, customs and destination charges.
3. Timing
Production and transit dates are estimates unless a signed agreement expressly guarantees a date. Sample production is typically 30–45 days after confirmation and cleared payment. Carrier handover, customs review, port congestion, weather and last-mile appointments may affect transit. Mixed-product orders may ship together according to the longest production lead time unless partial shipment is agreed.
4. Duties, taxes and destination services
Import duty, VAT/GST, brokerage, customs examination, storage, demurrage, residential or remote-area surcharge, lift-gate service and inside delivery are payable by the buyer unless the confirmed Incoterm or quotation says they are included. Buyers are responsible for providing accurate consignee, tax and import information.
5. Address and delivery changes
Confirm the delivery address before booking. An address, consignee or service change after booking may cause extra charges and delay. We pass through carrier charges attributable to buyer-requested changes, failed delivery, refusal or unavailable receiving facilities.
6. Receipt inspection
- Count cartons or pallets and compare them with the delivery documents.
- Inspect packaging before signing and note visible damage or shortage on the carrier receipt or proof of delivery.
- Photograph the shipment, labels, packaging and affected components before discarding packing material.
- Report visible damage, shortage or incorrect items within seven calendar days to enyo@meisentech.com.
Concealed damage should be reported promptly after discovery. Carrier deadlines can be shorter than our general period, so immediate documentation protects the claim.
7. Risk and title
Transfer of risk and title follows the Incoterm and commercial documents accepted for the order. Tracking or delivery estimates do not change those agreed terms.
